That time we went to Vegas
Recap from our Vegas trip.
Soooo I ended up in Las Vegas again. I was previously there for about 7 hours during my road trip back to Texas from California. This time I was there for NAB 2013 (just look it up) and to cut it short, we did what we needed to do there and came back home with some awards. I’m not really a fan of Vegas and you can’t hide everything in neon lights but I’m sure that I’ll end up there again at some point.

I came back earlier this week from California, Long Beach/Los Angeles to be specific. Driving 24hrs straight there and another 30+ back (after visiting Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon in Utah) was rough, intense and beyond worthwhile. Cheers to the open road and adventures.
I’ll upload pictures later on this month but for now I’ll be in the lovely chaos know as SXSW!
Taken yesterday in Arizona while driving to California. Wanderlust much??? Youbetcha!
A friend invited me to a shoot for a thesis film last week on campus. I took some pictures and also learned a little bit here while I was there. After they finished shooting that day the crew gathered to plan for their final shoot the next day. They wanted to shoot a scene with a boy in “void” / complete white space and I knew that the cotton sheets taped to the walls with half of the fake red interior wall showing through presented more problems than a solution. FORTUNATELY we just finished building our cyclorama at CHICON ,aka The Great Wall, a few days before. Long story short, I was at the right place, at the right time and was able to direct them to our beautiful wall. Cheers to them for being the first film production crew to shoot on the wall!
